Volunteer with Uhiwai

Mālama ‘āina is an ancient Hawaiian concept of respecting and taking care of the watershed through conservation and sustainability practices so the land and sea continue to sustain life.  Hoa ‘āina, friend of the land,  is crucial for nonprofit longevity and success. Our seasonal opportunities come in many forms: from seed collection, to corporate tree planting events, to pro-bono professionals working on specific projects.  If you are interested in becoming a volunteer for the hands on work that our restoration efforts require, please follow the instructions below.

Step 1:

Download and complete the Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability Form.  Max of 1 adult (18 years or older) per form. If the form is for a minor (under 18 years of age) please list the full name of the minor that is participating in your email to us.

Step 2:

Email your completed form to info@uhiwai.org.

When we have a volunteer opportunity available, we will contact you to discuss your skills and areas of interest. We look forward to hearing from you.
